They now make their home at CircleStar Ranch, Fontana, KS (45 minutes south of Olathe), where they live with 18 horses, 2 dogs, numerous cats and assorted wildlife. Charlie is the KHC BOD Executive Committee Secretary, the KHC web site coordinator, is active in boarding & TTEAM training at the ranch and is a breeder and trainer for the Personal Ponies Ltd foundation that places UK Shetlands with special needs children. Chris Mensch Chris says: "I've spent more years than I care to claim involved in the horse industry, in MO, TX and KS." I started, as many did, in 4-H, then fox-hunting with the Leavenworth Hounds, cowboy polo, Miss Rodeo Missouri, barrel racing, & team roping ("I always needed a rich heeler"). Quarter horses, Paints, Arabs, Appaloosas, Pintos Palominos - Western pleasure, halter, jumping, reining, driving, track horses, pretty much everything but saddle seat. My business interests have run from training, exhibiting, sales conditioning, race lay-ups, and breeding. The last 17 years my sister Maura and i have co-owned FoxEye Ranch in Lawrence, KS. We have stood 2 Paint World winning stallions, TS Wiser Otoe and Brother Heathen - whom we have built our all-around performance program on. We have shown extensively, but are now directing our horse interests in some new directions. We board, do lessons and clinics, and are involved in mixing our "real world" skills of therapist and psychiatric nurse with equine assisted psychotherapy. My greatest pleasure is derived from sharing the beauty and fun of our ranch with our partners, friends and family.

She and her husband, Bob, live at their Backdoor Farm just west of Westmoreland where they stand Connemara stallion, Sir Lancelot. Pattie enjoyed serving for 10 years as the Pottawatomie County 4-H Horse Quiz Bowl leader and has 2 daughters which meant lots of 4-H shows and barrel jackpots along with overnight campouts, trail-riding and parades. When her kids grew up she learned to show in Western Pleasure at Paint shows and most recently is learning to show Hunter/Jumpers. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve as Administrator for the Kansas Horse Council.
