Pomona Lake Horse Trail in Kansas

Pomona Lake (Black Hawk Horse Trails) – Osage County.  Black Hawk Trail begins in 110-Mile Park on northeast side of Pomona Lake, NE Osage County, in NE Kansas. Primitive group campground with 7 campsites, horse ties, water hydrant, six pipe corrals, fire rings, pit  toilets. Black Hawk Trail (21 miles) passes through variety of wooded, riparian and grassland areas. Blue trail follows Government boundary line; orange trail follows shoreline. Trails marked with white connect the two trails. Trail is marked with stakes where it crosses meadows. Yellow markers indicate difficult areas where caution should be used.
