Reins of Hope

Reins of Hope, Hutchinson, is a member of NARHA and is also a non-profit program seeking to offer children and adults with physical, mental, and/or emotional disabilities the benefits of therapeutic riding and hippotherapy. Reins of Hope works to provide equestrian programs which stimulate physical or emotional development of riders and encourage participants to reach their own personal potential. This is accomplished in a safe, caring, and challenging environment.

Individuals or organizations can help in a variety of ways. Reins of Hope will not turn any student away due to their financial situation; therefore, scholarships are important means of supporting the organization. A donation of $60 will provide a student with one 6-week riding session. A donation of $100 will provide a therapy horse with board for one month. Volunteers are essential in helping with fundraising and with assisting instructors in implementing specific lessons designed to meet the need of the riders.
